This is really late! I didn't want to miss a week though so better late than never!!
We are officially 19 weeks as of Friday! This weekend we decided to go through the whole house and find tons of donations! I had TONS of clothes that I've just collected over the last few years that I really don't use and so we decided that it was time to bag it all up and get it out of the house! We want the house to be as simple as organized as possible before the baby gets here so we can get into a perfect routine. We ended up with 10 garbage bags full of clothing to give away (not all mine!) But, I had no idea we had that much extra stuff!!
The nursery is really starting to come along... that extra room has really been our storage room for so long. We used it for laundry and we would just put extra things we didn't really use in there so we really had to get it ready and now it looks amazing! I can't wait to get all the decor up! It's going to be a nautical theme and it's going to be so adorable!
We registered at Target on Thursday which was a lot of fun. Now that we know it's a boy it's been so great being able to pick things out and really imagine what our life is going to be like!!
Saturday night we went to medival times which Eric has a blast at! I'm so glad we had a chance to just be together and do something fun! I wasn't sleeping well for about a week and I was just stressed and emotional because of the lack of sleep and so it was nice to kind of get away and have a special night planned! The last couple of nights i've been sleeping better so hopefully that will continue. You don't realize how much a lack of sleep can really affect you emotionally.
We have our big second trimester ultrasound on Thursday!! We are so excited to see our little boy again!! When we found out the sex of the baby it wasn't a medical ultrasound, it was just a place to specifically find out the gender. So this is where we will find out more about him medically! We cannot wait!
