32 and 33 weeks!

33 weeks just 7 more to go!!

So it's been kind of a crazy couple of weeks! We were in New Orleans last week because Eric had a training to get a new certification for work. I didn't want to be home alone for 5 days and I'd never been to New Orleans so we decided it would be great to take 1 more trip together befoe Logan gets here.
We had a lot of great food, walked around a lot and went to the Casino one night (we broke even). All in all it was a quiet, but great trip! Eric had class from 8-5 everyday, so my days were pretty quiet, but it was nice to have the evenings together.

This week was back to work for me. I am consulting back at the Alzheimer's Association until Logan gets here. I had a good first week. One down five more to go! It'll be nice to get some extra money right before Logan gets here. We've decided to put it all on a Costco giftcard so that we can buy diapers and formula with it over the next year! Working 6 weeks for a years worth of Diapers and Formula is worth it to me.

Eric had a long week because he hasn't had a day off since before the trip. His conference when through Sunday and then he had to be back in the clinic monday so we've enjoy this weeekend a lot!

Yesterday we went to the Lakehouse to visit with my mom's side of the family. My Mom was there, grandma was there, all of my aunts, Uncle ted was there and Keri and Jennifer were there along with John and James! We hung out at the house for a while and then we had a long lunch at a great little restaurant in town. It was a very short and sweet visit! I'm glad we made the trip!

Last night was pretty quiet, we just had a simple night at home. Today we are grocery shopping and working on some laundry!

I had a doctor's appt on Thursday. I now have to go every week until the end. I measured 33cm for 33 weeks and so i'm measuring right on target. The heartbeat was strong as always. I have to get some lab work done and I have to go in for weekly non-stress tests as well so it's going to be a long process until the end, so we just cannot wait for him to get here!!

Lots of Love,
Eric, Mary & Logan

31 weeks!

Our baby boy is due 2 months from today... can you believe it?!

Eric and I have spent today getting the nursery together. We finally bought a dresser/shelf unit and put that together today. We put away all of the clothes we've collected and put them away! It's really coming together. A few more decorations and we'll be ready to go!!
Here is a link to pictures of the nursery!

Since I forgot to post last week let me fill in what I may have missed.
We had a wonderful Easter at the Sorensen's. It was great to spend the day with Eric's family (minus his mom who had to work... she was very missed). The weather was BEAUTIFUL we had a great BBQ. We took Tristan with us which was so fun to practice! He was so well behaved! Little miss Cali turned the big FIVE on Wednesday so we celebrated her birthday as well with presents and a delicious ice cream cake! It's always so wonderful to spend a day with family!
We also watched Tristan on Saturday so we had a fun filled weekend with our favorite 1 year old!

I had my 31 week doctors appointment on Thursday. Measured 31 cm for 31 weeks which is perfect and his heartbeat was very strong. We started going over some birth plan ideas and we've realized just how close we're really getting!!

This week was pretty quiet. My parents are in Egypt for 2 weeks celebrating their 30th wedding anniversary (early it's really in October) and my sister/brother-in-law and nephew are in Las Vegas visiting her in-laws so it's been quiet around here.

Eric and I leave for New Orleans on Tuesday. He has a business trip and i'm tagging along for one final get away before Logan gets here! We are very much looking forward to some fun nights out.

I am actually going back to work for about 6 weeks before Logan gets here. My old boss asked me to come back as a consultant and help out. It'll be nice to get some extra money before the baby gets here and it'll be great to be back at the office with the girls for a while too!

All in all life is good! Everyone is healthy and happy!

Lots of love,
Eric, Mary & Logan
